We use soft, soothing colors, calming music (like classical or reggae), and gentle lighting instead of harsh fluorescents. Species-specific areas ensure that dogs and cats have separate, quiet spaces away from each other's potential stressors.

Gentle Handling and Personalized Care: Our certified staff is trained in gentle control and considerate approach techniques, using calm body language, low voices, and slow movements to build trust with your pet. We move at your pet's pace, never forcing interactions and using positive reinforcement (plenty of treats, praise, or toys) to create positive associations with our team and the environment.

Open Communication: We partner with you, the pet owner, to understand your pet's specific fears, habits, and preferences. We even encourage pre-stay visits so your pet can acclimate to the surroundings, and offer daily photo updates for your peace of mind. For highly anxious pets, we recommend speaking with your pets veterinary team to discuss pre-visit supplements or anti-anxiety medications.
